Default Romeo y Julieta No.2 Tubos

Smoke: Romeo y Julieta No.2 Tubos estimating 2010 vintage
    Drink: Smuttynose IPA
    Tunes: nothing
    Date Smoked: 1/19/2012

    Wrapper: ISOM
    Binder: ISOM
    Filler: ISOM
    Draw: Medium
    Burn: Good
Misc: run time about 1 hour

Pre-light: Comes in a tube (duh) Colorado shade wrapper. “Furry” texture on wrapper. Good construction, but pronounced veins and lumpy / bumpy looking. Sweet tobacco scent. Little “ball” under cap. A little spicy and plain on the cut prelight taste.

Light: Used a cedar splint. Easy light, medium draw.

1st 3rd: Light to medium body with some spice. Creamy too, and woodsy and sweet tobacco. Nutty and mellow.

Ash: Medium gray with black streaks. Holds on for about 1”

2nd 3rd: There’s that saltwater taffy thing… Nutty and woodsy. Light to medium body with medium flavors. Sip it, and you’re rewarded. Some oily twinge setting in.

3rd 3rd: Same profile. A nice profile of salty, woodsy, nutty and oil bitter twinge.

Overall impression: Nice cigar. Enjoyable. Maybe more enjoyable for breakfast with a coffee, however this IPA is going well with it. I would split a fiver maybe, but not a whole box.

    Thanks, Santa

Thanks for the review. I still think of Edgeman when I think about morning/breakfast cigars.

Do draft dodgers have reunions? And if so what do they talk about?
