My offer to work on this Humidor FOR FREE is based upon 100% of the auction sale proceeds going to to the benefit of our servicemen. My offer was intended to 'make Swif whole' and not better his position. It seems that Swif wants both a refund from Waxingmoon and a share of a charity auction? This seems wrong to me.

I will only 'make right correctable matters' FOR FREE if there is no refund and the Humidor is kept by Swif. That would keep him 'whole'
Also 'make right correctable matters' FOR FREE if the humidor is auctioned off and 100% of the sale proceeds go to the benefit of out servicemen.
I am not willing to 'make right correctable matters' FOR FREE under other circumstances.
I stated that I would like to keep 25% as to recover a little to move forward with my wine cooler. I will not keep the humidor as I cannot look at it form this ordeal. If you fix it I will auction it off to send money to wounded warriors

I do not expect anything free. I do not expect you or anyone else to give me anything free.

If Ed steps up and refunds me I will take a small amount for my wine cooler and send the rest to wounded warriors. If ED refunds me in full and I keep the humidor the same thing will happen. I will auction off the humidor repaired + donated parts of my refund from ED to give even more money to wounded warriors.

That's pathetic. Reminds me of those "non-profits" where $.08 out of every donated dollar actually go to feeding the babies or neutering the cats or some other sob story.

I would still loose money by taking 25% or the auction. So I do not make a buck as you stated.

I'm a shit bird for having a offer to repair the humidor that I not longer want and would auction off to send 75% of the money to wounded warriors? Were is the logic there? I am still loosing money on the deal. The only plus side is I get the humidor off my hands and money goes to wounded warriors.

So me were someone loses money in a deal and turns around to help wounded warriors.

I can think of one person here, Arlin. His offer to me was to repair the humidor and auction it off. Money would go to his charity and he would credit me $1200. I did not want him to credit me as I would not take anything from him for free. I would pay him for his work for what every I had him build for me.
    Research you humidor builder.

You wouldn't loose any money... you would lose it. Now tell me, say Arlin donates his time (100% of it for free, not 75%) to fix the humidor with the understanding that his time is going to charity and the humidor sells for $4... you take 25% (because you are a strong man of character)... that would be $1 for you to put in your wallet, right? Did you not just make a buck?

Learn from this swift, there are a whole lot of things more important than money.

His first offer to you was to repair you humidor for free. WTF was wrong with that offer? You would have had a functioning, custom made humidor......wasn't that your original goal?

The only thing that will make Swif happy is to unload his humidor for the full $1200.00 he paid for it.
He bought it. Is unhappy with it. Now wants the cigar community to make it right for him.
Swif is the very definition of a cry-baby. Suck it up there Big-Boy and just live with it.

I began a WMWH discussion with Ed in December 2011 and over the course of a month we settled on a design 17H x 12W x 12D in wenge and black palm. After a 50% deposit the build began early January with great progress pictures. Upon completion the balance owing and a shipping charge was paid.

Delivery took longer than we expected due to the shipper goofing up with the label, nothing we can do about 3rd parties.

The custom WMWH146 finally arrived and looked stunning. After a few days of seasoning...

I'll let Ed post up some pictures or I can. It is well documented from design to workshop and my experience since February 17, 2012.

This is absolutely hilarious. You guys are bashing swift but in return beilieving everything he's telling you and then bashing ed at waxing moon. Does anyone else find this odd? I mean with a name like swift and with pics like that lmfao. I belong o er at puff. Com where 100s of people have been blown away by eds work and eds prices. What makes you guys think that this honestly happened ed? Swift writing that it did and supposedly copying. And pasting the communication with ed. I will say this. Ed is currently in the process of making me a box and the communication so.far has been awesome. I have pics that's you can actually see LOL. My box is paid for. Its a 150 CT cherry with cathedral stained maple center lid. A great friend of mine is a damn fine craftsmen here in the mtn s of western MD where we live so he will be able to tell me if I get s quality box or not. So this will be a nice test to.see if ed build quality boxes. Someone along time ago.gave me good advice. Believe nothing of what you read and half of what you see.
