Cool New to the Lifestyle of Cigars

Hey ya'll.. I am new to this whole lifestyle. I have dabbled with it here and there and enjoyed a few decent Cigars. But it wasnt until recently that I have truly started to ENJOY my cigar if you understand what I am saying. Anyways, I am looking for any advice anyone may have for entering this society of fine cigars and bourbon. Looking for smoking buddies new or old to Cigars anywhere in the world. I am always traveling due to my carrer path and would enjoy the finer life with people of all cultures and worlds.

That's a cool '66 Shelby replica in your avatar.

Thanks. I wish this was my car. One of my dream cars next to a Corvette Stingray. When I saw this avatar I had to pick it. It was either this avatar or a 007 avatar. By the way I am originally from Michigan, but currently am living in Italy.

No doubt. The sheer rarity of a colored '66 Shelby is impressive. I'd opt for an original '65 or a '65R (If I had that kind of money)

    Welcome from Bitterville.

Oh yeah, a '65? If I had the money for that it would only because I won the Lottery multiple times in a row. If that happens, I will never get to buy the car. Ill be on my way to the morgue due to a heart attack.

I am always in the Chicago area. I am usually flying through there or just hanging out in the area. I might even stop by in IL for a little bit on my way down to Oklahoma.

Thats right... Go Red Wings. You my friend, obviously have taste in sports teams. :)

Welcome from western Oregon. Let me know if you ever make it out here.

I've tried getting into hard alcohol and while I enjoy gin & tonics, cuba libres (rum & coke w/lime), and whiskey & coke w/lemon; I haven't been able to handle sipping on straight alcohol. I tend to go to the microbrews that the Pacific Northwest is famous for.
    Latest smokes:
    Cigar: 5/19: Nub Connecticut 464T
    Pipe: 3/16: G.L. Pease~Charing Cross

I sure will. Hey just curious does anyone actually use ICQ or anything similar to keep in contact with their smoking buddies? I think it would be easier to use that than to have to constantly log into CS and read the forums. Not that I dont mind doing that. I rather enjoy reading what some people say and enjoy communicating with the group as a whole. But more of a one on one type talk with someone and see how things are going with them?
