After one night sitting, the hygrometer reads about 82% and has declined to 80% within the past 5 hours, I've checked the sponge and it is still full of water...Is it normal for the RH to drop like it is doing? Based on a youtube video, the RH should rise to 85% by 3 days. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Did you calibrate your hygrometer? (I spelled that right, just for GG & CC)
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Get some humidity beads, get some cigars in there and start smokin'
