    Default Smoke shop etiquette question

Wife and I are relatively new to cigar smoking. We recently visited a our first smoke shop (Havana Mix in Memphis). Wonderful help from the owner (no attitude about being inexperienced). Question is; we really enjoyed the cigars he picked for both of us, but even though we liked them we felt we were done with about 1/3 of each cigar left. We weren't quite sure what is the appropriate thing to do. So we just left them in the ashtray still burning. Just like to know if there is a right or wrong thing to do, or does it matter, thanks.

Yeah you are fine not smoking the entire cigar, and laying it down in the ash tray to burn out is fine too (don't put it out like you would with a cigarette though).

Welcome to the forum from AZ.

Perfect, unless its something special or in drunk I usually smoke about 2/3 to 3/4 of a cigar. Powerful cigars can get flat out nasty down towards the nub

Its been a while with a lot of testing since. I think my wife had a RP Edge Lite, I won't forget what I had. Gurkha Grand Reserve Cognac, amazing! The testing and sampling goes on

You may want to give the Newbie Sampler a try, you'll get a great mix of cigars.

Leave it in the ashtray and let it burn itself out. If you try to put it out like a cigarette, it will smoke, smolder and piss off the shop owner.
