I don't know why everyone in the beginning was being so rude. To answer your question I think you should definitely be safe in about a months time. Although it could be far less (Depending on your body's ability to process toxins, how you smoke the cigar, how frequently etc.) and I don't know how quickly the compounds are said to degrade.
What I do know is that my father was in the exact same predicament you are and he said that he would just go clean a month before his physical and be fine. (though he didn't smoke everyday he would smoke much more than once a month) He said that as far as the physical was concerned you're a non-smoker if you do this.
