Pre-light: Oscuro wrapper. Ok construction, but kinda flawed in several placed. Little veins and a carboard texture to the wrapper. Smells of hay and light spice. Cut prelight taste exhibits light spice and mint.

Light: Difficult with a cedar splint. Almost like an asbestos wrapper.

1st 3rd: Lots and lots of sweet tobacco and no spice. A light body cigar, despite the maduro / Colorado shade. Has an oily twinge like a Dominican, but some tooth like a Honduran or Nicaraguan. Retrohale is pretty mild to medium. Interesting.

Ash: Crisp white ash, no color, but holds on for only ¾”

2nd 3rd: Changes into a full on chocolate now. Spicy chocolate, leather, and hints of mint and oil. It’s still a light to medium body with medium to light flavor.

3rd 3rd: Oil predominant, and some spice. Hasn’t changed much since the 2nd 3rd. The burn is erratic and required many purges.

Overall impression: I’m not sure if I want to win a prize pack of these. Seems harsh, and not great, but hey, I’ll smoke whatever.
