Hey everyone. My name is Cody. I've been looking around these forums for a while, reading reviews and posts, and decided it was about time for me to join up.

I'm a student at the University of Oregon and I have been smoking cigars for around two years. Recently I decided to make an investment in a relatively small (personal stash) sized humidor and filled it up about halfway. I have been a huge Padron fan ever since my first 1964. I really just cannot explain how that cigar changed the whole experience for me. It widened my perspective of what a cigar could be.

My most recent smokes were a La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor and a Diamond Crown Maximus. I thought the Mi Amor was a pretty solid cigar and the Maximus was amazing near the middle half, but otherwise lacking near the beginning and end.

I guess that's pretty much a summary and if anyone has any suggestions based on my past smokes, I'm always looking for a new cigar to try out.

    Thanks everyone.

Welcome cody! If you like the Padron 64s then you ought to try a 1928 sometime. I personally think they're better than the 64s but that's just me. There are lots of others who like the 64s over the 26s but as I mentioned, try one sometime, and see what you think. I'd personally recommend a #2 maduro.

I have had one 1926 in my time and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. I purchased one a week ago, that I have resting in my humidor to smoke this summer. Ialso just purchased my first 64 maduro today, so I'm excited to give that a try.

I have family all over the state. How can you not love Oregon? Especially once we get the sun to come out for an extended period of time.
