As with anything else I become interested in, I join an online forum lol. Browsed for a while and there seems to be a lot of great information here. I know I have already learned a lot.

Anyway, I have only been smoking cigars for a few months. Usually just with friends, the golf course, or on a nice day with a good book. The cigars I have tried is very limited; Punch, Romeo y Julieta, and H. Upmann are pretty much the only ones I can recall. Recently purchased a 50 count humidor from cubancrafters after reading some reviews on here, should arrive in a couple days. I also just joined cigarbid, so I'm looking forward to trying some new sticks. That's pretty much my story, if anyone has any recommendations, I'm listening.

I would try a Padron 1964, because you can't really go wrong with the Padron line.

There have been many reviews posted in the Review section of the forum. You might try looking there for a recommendation. Still, you can't beat the Newbie Exchange. Search for it on the forum somewhere. Highly recommended.

I looked at the Newbie Sampler and I will definitely try to take advantage of that. Seems like a great idea. I actually went to the cigar shop today and picked up a Padron Series cigar. Just finished the cigar and I really enjoyed it. A lot different than what I have already tried. The guy at the shop also recommended the Romeo y Julieta Reserve. I will be trying that one Wednesday on the golf course.
