    Default New guy here

I am new here. My name is Rigo, 32 years of age. Found this, nice looking site doing a google search and decided to join. I am a beginner to cigars in general. And when I say beginner, I mean beginner. So please, teach me, correct me, criticize my opinions so that I can become knowledgeable towards cigar smoking and collecting.

Glad to be a part of this forum and I hope to make some good friends on here and learn a lot from you.

I would help, but some folks tell me I suffer from "ignorance".

Yep....I wouldn't know anything about helping newbies out. Please show me the way, enlightened one.

Here is newbie advice: Grow thicker skin, or you're not going to enjoy this board very long...

So, the first thing I would recommend you do here is find yourself one or two of the FOGs, preferably the ones who might be in the top 3 for post counts. You know, guys who have been around the block a dozen times and have tons of knowledge about what you are trying to learn about...

then, call them ignorant and flip them off.

Oh wait, I see you already did that... well I guess you already know how to handle yourself, no need for advice from me.

Thanks for the advice, and believe me, I know all about thick skin....lol

I am actually having fun here. The problem is that on the net, it is impossible to show any kind of expression but I am actually joking with ggiese and ashauler. Now if they take things to heart, then I guess they need to grow an even thicker one.

Because I am new, there is nobody on here who knows how I am. My personality is one of a calm person and a jokester at the same time. I can take a lot in.

I don't mind what people say. I am only here to try to learn a little about cigars. I do NOT want to be a pro in cigars. I just want to know enough to find what I like and to seat back while smoking it.

Oh, and have a nice collection. Know enough to talk, if need to, about my collection.
