I don't think you read what he wrote with an open mind. Certainly not any reason for a meltdown of this magnitude.

I obviously read what he wrote, he obviously didn't read what I wrote.

I made the order before I joined here, I did my research and saw equal good reviews for equal negative. I made a descion and as far as I can see right now I'm fine with it.

I don't need everyone jumping on the "bashing" bandwagon even though I deleted the contents of the original post well before they even saw it.

Maybe it's not a reading issue but rather comprehension. The advice ggiese imparted upon you was sound.

    The Foolish Monkey

Once upon a time, there was a colony of monkeys living in the jungle. One paticular monkey was thought by the others to be a fool because he never talked. One day, the lion called a meeting of all the beasts of the jungle. The Lion opened the meeting by asking a question. The monkey immediately sat up and stated his opinion.

Moral: Better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I'm not yet sure if you will fit in well with this forum, but I do know there are plenty of folks that would love for you to post a deal like that at puff.com. Perhaps that community would be more to your liking.

*sigh* Further evidence that familiarizing yourself with the standards of this board isn't high on your list. Sadly, I'll have to say this is no surprise.

Hard to believe, I know - but there is this impetuous, egocentric attitude amongst some folks that leads to a temporar episode of "foot in mouth" syndrome. Much like the flu, most suffering from the syndrome take their medicine and get over it in a few days.

In this case - i believe it's turning chronic and is likely to lead to fatal consequences...

In most fatal cases of "foot in mouth" syndrome, there is typically a "dying declaration" that is worthy of preservation.... One can only hope it will be noteworthy!

I hate Thompons with a passion. I can't honestly remember a Victor Sinclair that I ever liked though I could be wrong.

I agree. I have had NO PROBLEMS with Thompson. I'm just an occasional cigar smoker. But I follow the rule of "smoke what you like, like what you smoke."

While I understand that unsolicited commercial ads are the bane of any forum community, is it any better to beat someone down simply for sharing their experiences? I kind of figured that was the whole point of the forum experience. However, if this is a place for a select few to spread their "wisdom" to those priviledged enough to read it, count me out.

Most folks with an open mind and eager to learn (and that should include all of us) just want to share experiences and in the case of this forum improve their enjoyment of cigars.

Perhaps you didn't read the original message. I don't remember it being merely "sharing their experiences;" I remember it sounding more like "unsolicited commercial ads."

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww how fucking touching of a whiny fest you had there corey. If you have sumarized how the board operates by reading 1 post and you making 1 post I would say you need to leave the place and never log back in.If Care Bears and hugs and kisses are what you are looking for then puff.com is where you wanna be . Its wicked awesome with all the free speech and contests and box splits of genuine cuban cigars. There is a couple of great humidor makerss over there too.
