Miscellaneous:
6x48 torp. Slight crack at head, but nothing the Xikar won't take care of. Solid colorado shade wrapper with nice construction. Slight sweet tobacco scent.	Watching the moon rise.
'The necktie' (animated short) and 'Cry of the wild' (classic would documentary) at nfb.ca	Waiting for this supposed big ass moon to come out from behind the clouds.
It's not raining.	Watching the weeds I call a lawn grow.
This cigar was quite veiny. The first D&D movie always reminds me of the Legend of Dragoon for Playstation. I always enjoy both, and this cigar was a great accompaniment to the movie!	I sat in a chair.
For some reason we started talking about Irene first when we got the packages. I have been looking forward to this one for a while.

Prelight Taste:
Light tobacco flavor on cut prelight taste.	I forgot to check because I was too worried about cutting the head without completely unraveling this delicate girl of a cigar.
The cap was busted with a tear running an inch down the side of the cigar. Pleasant prelight aroma. Cut & lit easily.	Woody.
Slightly sweet and earthy.	It tasted like a cigar.
Very leathery with a bit of earthiness.	I didn't notice anything. It smells like all the other Grape Owls in my humidor.
I didn't detect much flavor on the pre-light on this one.	Good tobacco flavor with a little bit of sweetness. Very airy draw.
Woodsy and earthy. Not a lot of pre-light taste.

Taste 1st Third:
Oily and bitter out the gate, but a woodsy / earthy undertone on slow exhale. A little sweet tobacco.	Nice. Sweet cedar wood taste with a little spice, tons of smoke, perfect burn, tight ash, fantastic draw (on the loose side). Wrapper is super delicate though which is pretty annoying.
A lightly-packed cigar, so a very slow draw is needed. Nice pure black tobacco taste - I don't think this is a Franken-cigar.	Woodsy and sweet.
Good draw = plenty of smoke. Some initial spice that seemed to fade away the more I smoked.	Leathery and peppery.
Had as nice mild spice on the finish. Tasted of earthy tobacco. Slightly sweet on the draw.	Tobacco and about 1 inch in spice/pepper.
Voluptuous amounts of smoke! Each draw starts off with a nice leathery taste, which is slightly creamy, and finishes off with a nice spice hit on the throat.	This was one of the rare cigars I've smoked where I can tell some flavor within the first 5-10 puffs or so. It's a very pleasant, yet distinctive 'tobacco' taste - not too lingering, but not overwhelming, either. Right at the end of the first third, I'm getting some heavy spice.
Started off very mild seeming to me. I wasn't picking up a whole lot of flavor which was disappointing. The cigar turned around about halfway through the 3rd though and became a little more spicy with a hint of sweet. It wasn't overly smooth and changed from what I had thought was a milder cigar into a medium body. I had a nasty crack in the cap of this one so I was kind of fighting that and the burn was a bit more uneven than I like but overall the cigar at this point was not bad.	Good flavor, unfortunately no spice though. Figures I drink water with the AVO and bust out the Stella for Irene.
Lot's of rich thick smoke. Mainly earthy and woody tones. Very nice so far.

Taste 2nd Third:
Oily is still there, but mellowed. Woodsy and creamy sweet tobacco. Damn, these are nice. Medium body, full flavor.	Spice went away as expected, still has that woody sweetness which is great. Wrapper is ticking me off. The moon doesn't look any bigger than it normally does...
Just wonderful. Nicely-fermented/aged tobacco. The wrapper is a bit fragile.	Woodsy and sweet.
Had to can this one. Kid woke up with a bad dream. Dad duty calls.	I ended up with visitors and had to abandon the smoke for a bit, resulting in a relight. After that the burn was uneven with some tunneling.
Leathery still and a very tiny sweet taste.	Spice went way down. But flavor was still pretty good. Same as the first but slightly sweeter.
More of the same.	A nice earthy taste has developed to replace the leather and spice. Though the taste has become slightly more creamier now. Still copious amounts of thick smoke pouring out. I love it!
Spice has faded a bit. The cigar has changed, and it seems like it's getting sweet. Incredibly smooth - no harshness at all. The cigar itself gives when I squeeze it, which knocks some construction points off for me, and the burn is only kind of even, but not to the point where I have to fix it. It's smoking like a mess, but the taste is awesome. I'm puffing like a chimney at this point, not wanting to give this part of the cigar up.	The cap during this section of the cigar took a real turn for the worse, it looked like i was one of those guys who just chews the smoke. The burn is still a bit uneven and the cigar is requiring more attention than any of the previous MR5 ladies. I don't like my girls needy. The cigar has gotten a bit more spicy and for me the sweetness has gone away to be replaced by a harsh taste that I really don't care for. I am not hating the cigar at this point but it is certainly not my favorite.
Pretty much the same as the 1st. A little stronger with a retro-hale. Nothing out of this world, but a good clean smoke.	Developing a nice oily wood and leather taste. Very smooth and earthy.

Taste 3rd Third:
More of the same deliciousness. Woodsy / earthy sweet, creamy tobacco with some background oily bitterness for balance.	Started to got hot and harsh, wrapper is flailing around like an orangutan. I probably smoked this last third too fast.
Cops amounts of smoke, but with lots of flavor. Leather aftertaste.	Strong leather like my old Levis belt minus the sweat LOL.
Spice picked up again in the 3rd. More of a bite to it then there was earlier. Hints of leather came out.	Not much changed still a nice cigar.
The spice returned in the final third and became the dominate taste. Though once there was less than 3/4 in. left, a bit of harshness developed.	Spice is back - though not as prevalent. Loooooong finish. Seemed like this part of the cigar took just as long as the first two thirds combined. The binding is coming apart, I'm afraid that if I put the cigar down at this point, it will completely explode, but it's very good.
The taste of Irene to me has gotten pretty harsh, the spice I was enjoying has taken a backseat and now the lady has turned into something I don't want to have any longer of a relationship with, I find I am missing Halle quite a bit at this point. It is time unfortunately to break it off with Irene, we had a few good times but unfortunately her neediness and harsh attitude has gotten worse and I don't believe counseling will help us.	More of the same. I like it, but very one dimensional.
Great cigar. Fairly consistent from start to finish with lot's of wood, peat, and earth. Wish I had a nice single malt to go with this!

Last Words:
10th anny.	I am going to buy a box of the rothschilds. This is a tasty cigar and worth dealing with the wrapper issues.
Finally, my kind of cigar.	Wish I could have finished this cigar. I honestly have no idea what it it (which makes me three for three!)
Pretty nice cigar, no JdN Antano but still a pretty powerful cigar.	I think this is a Camacho 10th Anniversary. But I may have just shot myself in the foot.
To me this was a good every day cigar.	This cigar really hit the spot and the Lagavulin went phenomenally with it! Really, another awesome cigar? Two in a row? I really hope I enjoy the final.....
Overall, I thought this was really good. I normally don't like ring gauges this large, and constructurally, I thought this cigar was a mess. But the taste was awesome, I loved the flavor profile throughout.	While I didn't have a good relationship with Irene I am still possibly willing, eventually, to give her another try however for now I think we need time apart.
I liked Irene, but a bit of a one trick pony. Maybe I cut too much off the cap, the airy draw really detracted from the experience. That said, I would definitely give this stick another smoke given the opportunity.

These cigars were purchased from Tex Cigars. We picked them up for $212.94 with free shipping (box of 21). Atlantic Cigar has one box of these left for $172.95 but they didn't have that deal when we purchased the MR5 cigars (sorry guys). The cigars came nicely packaged, in that annoying pyramid-ish shaped Camacho box that doesn't fit in your coolidor easily. I didn't see any damage to the cigars but getting the cello and bands off without damaging the wrapper was an absolute royal pain. I ended up using an X-acto knife to cut a slit in the cello to avoid cracking the head of the cigar, it took me 3 times as long to get these finicky cigars ready for shipping than it did all the other ones.
