    Default Puro Pot Pass V

If no one objects i will run the PPP this year.

I am posting this to gauge interest in running another Puro Pot Pass. What's a Puro Pot Pass?

The rules, as proposed, are here:

The Object : Be able to guess the country of origin of a nude, puro cigar. A "puro" is a cigar where the wrapper, binder and filler are all from the same country.

The Prize : This will be a sort of "jackpot" style prize. Here's an example:

Player A: Will be me. I will start this off with a nude cigar and a prize pack of 3 sent to Player B

Player B: Guesses wrong. Has to send his prize pack and nude stick, plus an additional 3 to Player C (now 6 cigars)

Player C: Guesses wrong. Has to send his prize pack and nude stick, plus an additional 3 to Player D (now 9 cigars)

Player D: Guesses right. Keeps prize pack of 9, and then sends out nude stick and a new 3 pack to Player E.

Player E: As the last player, if he guesses right. He of course keeps the prize. But if he guesses wrong he must bomb an unsuspecting victim not associated with the game. Preferrably a n00b.

This is for everyone. Prize pack sticks are to be $3 and up no limit on uper price send what you want and the nude cigar needs to be over the $5 mark and HAS to be a puro, meaning everything about it has to be from the country of origin. This will take some researching on your part. If you have a question about the MSRP of a stick, PM and ask. Don't assume. " the puro can be any price over $5 so don't assume no one will send a $30 stick for the puro"

On top of a prize pack - everyone will receive an image award and must display it as their sig tag for one month from the day of receiving it. There will be a reward for guessing right - and one for guessing wrong.

There's no limit on how many or who can play. This is for newbs and FOGs alike. After everyone is done signing up, then I will arrange the order and get this party started.

    What say you?

I will start it out, and will choose the order and will post in this first post in this thread. (the order can be changed if something comes up and your not able to play in your turn)
Start date will be July 6th? if thats good for everyone.

Please keep up with communication. That is key.

    The ORDER (so far):
    Mangyrat 1st and plays last.

There's no limit on how many or who can play. This is for newbs and FOGs alike. After everyone is done signing up, then I will arrange the order and get this party started.

UPDATE: I will post here of any changes as we go along IE the cigar price is not your over inflated local cigar shop prices look on the net for the lowest price you can find the cigar at, If i Can find the old price guide ill post it here also.

I need you guys to PM me you puro and prize pack puts when its your turn so i can keep track of the prize pack like we did last year "all but the last person when its my turn don't send me your puro info".

I also wanted to clarify that each contestant will be receiving their own custom sig tag. No need to worry about not getting individual attention. Please keep the original size of the sig tag you are sent. If you want to play, this is part of it.

For you new guys that want to do some reading here is the links to the Past PPP threads.

Just a heads up to anyone else that gets this emailed to them. Don't even bother reading it on your monitor, just send it straight to the printer. You'll like having the hard copy, and there's not many pages at all so it's worth it.

    Updated the first post.

Prize packs need to be minimum of $3 but no upper limit.
Puro start at $5 mark and go up to what ever you want to send so don't rule out any $30 cigars when trying to guess the puro.

I need you guys to PM me you puro and prize pack puts when its your turn so i can keep track of the prize pack like we did last year "all but the last person when it my turn don't send me your puro info".

Any objections to startign this next weekend?
We can leave the sign up open and just add them in to the order.

If no objection ill find a random number generator and pick the order with that or draw names out of a hat.
