    Default Hello, new member introduction

Hello, I'm James from southern California. I just started smoking cigars a few months ago and I'm having all kinds of fun learning about them. I have enjoyed reading through a lot of discussions, contests, passes, reviews and meltdowns on these forums so far. It’s been a great resource. I'm not great at introductions so if you have any questions about me feel free to ask. This is my second attempt at posting an introduction thread. I'm not if sure I tried to post the first one too soon or if it simply wasn't up to snuff.

Thanks guys, glad to be here.

Welcome from Western Oregon. Which cigars have you enjoyed the most so far?

Thanks. The cigars I have enjoyed the most so far have been the Olivia V series, and a mystery Rocky Patel. I was never able to get an ID on the Rocky Patel since it was part of a sampler and I lost the band.

To be honest I'm not to sure what I like in a cigar, spicy is one thing I like though. Otherwise I just take notice of cigar's whose flavors grab my attention and note them down.

Spicy flavors in cigars are great but I like the core flavors to be diffrent I think the spicy flavor should
compliment the main flavors like coffee, coco, etc. I found that cigars that have spice as the main flavor is like chewing on black pepper, that's my opinion though. If you want to try a cigar with full body and great flavors and have some spare cash to drop on a higher priced stick pick up a my father le bijou 1922, I prefer the toro vitola personally. Happy smoking

Welcome from Ottawa, Canada, where spice goes on food (except chocolate).

Hi all. Just joined and looking forward to learning more about cigars. I've been smoking for awhile but never really learned anything about them. Just bought my guatanemeras on my yearly Cuba trips and smoked them. Now I want to try some variety.

Wonderful piggyback intro, Walmart. I'll be watching your career on CS with great interest!

Hijacking intro threads. Classic move. Well played "walmat". Well played.

Didn't mean to piggyback. I thought this was the "introduce yourself" thread. Sorry if I didn't follow protocol. I'm new to all this.
