    Default Google filtering tobacco?

Just ran a few searches on various cigar brands and the google shopping function returned zero results. Anyone know about this? Thanks Pub

Might be something that now vendors will have to pay to show up on google? maybe?

Interesting. Does this have anything to do with that petition every online cigar site has been trying to get people to sign regarding internet cigar sales?

I understand that google is a business, but this just plain aweful.

This reaches much further than cigar sales. Timing is interesting too.

It's just in the shopping searches......a standard google search will still provide results.

Yeah - and I pretty much have no use for the "shopping" search functionality anyway. It always seems to try to steer me to Amazon.com.

Well, it was useful when you could type in, for example, "Padron 2000" click on "shopping" sort by price, and you can get an idea the average online box price.

Now you gotta do it manually. Oh the humanity!!!!

3......you lucky so-and-so. We only had two and they shut off at 11 pm and didn't start up again until 7 or 8 am.

Remember how they shut down? The image would reduce down to a little white dot in the middle of the screen which took a minute or two to go away? I remember being very little and trying to look into the white dot in the center of dad's 21" console B&W TV to see if you could still see the picture in that little white dot.

In Canada - did they end the day with a closeup video of the flag of Canada flying with a "O Canada" playing in the background - immediately followed by a test screen with the big indian head?

If not - man did you miss the best show of the day!!!

I preferred Edie Adams (Muriel cigars) over George Burns.

As for Canada, every station that I can remember had Terry Fox - the only great Canadian that all Canadians agree on, to paraphrase Douglas Coupland.

ETA: and some RCMP on horseback. (The current Canadian flag was much too controversial.)
