    Default XBone

Anybody have the XBox One? I've been playing Forza 5 and Call of Duty Ghosts for the past couple days. Hit me up if you want to play.

I think you can guess what my gamertag is.

By the way, I really like it. Nice upgrade from the 360, and I think it will only get better.

I have one. Gamer tag is my username. I also play Forza 5 but I'm more of a Battlefield 4 guy. Haven't played much since I've been home.

I have the 360, and am completely satisfied with it. My thumbs hate each other so I don't play the shooter games.

Well if you ever get to racing, hit me up. Forza is a great game. Quite a few asshats trying to ruin it, but they won't last long.

Ha! Sucker. Just kidding, it's really personal preference. I've always had better control with xbox controllers over playstation. A B X Y makes sense to me. Circle Square Triangle X just irritates me. I do believe it's a toss up for game quality, but I give xbox a few points for online multiplayer...and of course the aforementioned controller layout.

360 is a great machine, and will be around for years. What do you play? If you're a Rock Band guy, I can play a mean lead guitar and pretty deadly on drums. Just don't ask me to sing.

Still have mine too. Good stuff. Haven't busted it out in years, but I still have it.

I picked up a 360 on Black Friday. I was planning to download a bunch of games for the PC from Steam's Halloween sale, but my PC is an old piece of crap and wouldn't play any of the games (mainly due to the lack of a dedicated video card). I debated getting a new PC, but after sitting at a computer all day, I'd rather play a game while sitting on my couch. I don't play enough to spend the $ on a One.

But do you still play that NES Kevin?

Yep,had to bust the cartrige open a few years back and shitrig a new watch battery for the memory. Got a game genie and somewhere is the NES game atlas for the early games

A few years back my son and I attended a police auction and bought 5 plastic bins full of brand new but older video games (still in original shrink wrap). NES, Super NES, Game Gear, Game Boy, etc. The newest is about 12 years old. My son sold the game systems in there for some surprising $$$ (I also believe he confiscated the Zelda games), but we put the rest of games in the garage and literally forgot about them. Just prior to my accident I found them and was making a killing selling them on eBay...

I'm amazed they're still so popular.

I play racing games...Nascar - Forza4, but I've never played online. I suck so bad that these two games will probably keep me occupied for a few more years.

    I have to be honest.

Aside from the fact that I despise Microsoft with every fiber of my being.

I truly hate the Microsoft XBOX line of products. Mainly because they like to charge you for products and services you already pay for. Such as Netflix, You pay 10, 20, 30, 50 a month for Netflix. Then you pay between 50-125 a month for internet access, M$ wants another 5 dollars a month for you to be able to watch Netflix on the XBOX. This goes for all of the services you pay for that are accessible via XBOX.

I almost hate sony as much as I do M$ (in some cases more). At least they don't charge me for services that I already pay for. That is why there will be a PS4 in my house (probably when GT7, or GTA6 comes out), when the games are there to support it.

Seeing as how we're being honest: Your reasoning sucks.

You're free to dislike and not purchase services from whomever you wish. That is what a capitalist society is all about. See reference from Wiki

"Capitalism is an economic system in which trade, industry and the means of production are controlled by private owners with the goal of making profits in a market economy." (snip)

Secondly, let's look at your figures.

-Netflix "10, 20, 30, 50 a month" - Hmmm. I only pay $7.99 for all the digital streaming I want. If I wanted DVD's, I would pay an additional $7.99. But I choose not to. Not because I hate Netflix, but because I personally would not benefit from the additional service.

-Internet Access: "50 - 125 a month" - My internet service is a set price. If yours fluctuates that much, you should look for another provider. Oh, and I pay a fair amount for my service. Not because I love the company, but it is a service I see value in.

-Microsoft wants $5 a month to watch Netflix - C'mon now, this is not true. First off, an XBox Live Gold membership is $4.16 per month. And, you get a whole lot more than just Netflix. Much more, and much better than Playstation Network. Here's a link to some of the benefits.

Like I said in the beginning, you have the right to choose. That's what makes this country what it is, and I hope to God it stays that way. So, keep playing the Playstation (which I have no problem with, and will probably get one of them too). But let's try to keep a conversation based on facts, not some seemingly socialist bullshit.

    Way to go Captain literal!

This is nothing to do with "socialist bullshit" sir, I am executing my right to not pay a third party for Netflix. The prices are generalizations. I pay about 30 a month for Netflix, there are larger amounts that can be paid, and lessor amounts. The internet access is to cover the gambit as in I know people who pay ~ 50 a month, and I know people who pay 125 or more a month, they are called generalizations.

I don't disagree that you get "more" for the silly xbox membership, however, I don't use it. So from my vantage point, since I don't play online games, Xbox is trying to charge me for services that I already pay for. Believe you me, there are very few who believe as I do in terms of politics. I am one of the very few who stand for personal responsibility. Don't go thinking that just because I am from CA I am a democrat (look where I live, one of the final bastions of republicans in the whole of California), I don't claim republican either. To my eyes, they are two sides of the same coin, and serve only to divide and distract the nation from what is really important.

So, you agree that your previous comments were in fact bullshit. Good, case closed.

We don't discuss politics here. We have few rules here, but we do appreciate the observance of them.
