Welcome from Bitterville.
To stock my humi, then and now, I bought cigars.

alrigth, a sense of humor, I like it.
You're asking a question that's very difficult to answer. Kinda like asking "how's it hanging?".
If you're truly curious about what everyone's thoughts are about various cigars - look around. There are plenty of threads that cover it from soup to nuts.
Oh - and Reist the temptation to store acid cigars with the rest of your stock.![]()
See, I thought it was a simple question "how do you stock your humidor", to which I gave a simple reply. I didn't even think I was being funny.
Lucky for theafh you are here to read between the lines of his sophisticated question, and get closer to the answer he really wants!![]()

I don't know that his question was "sophisticated", as much as it was deep. It causes us to be very reflective of our personal humidor situations.
For example, Will - since I have several humidor and stock each somewhat differently what is the appropriate way to answer theafh's question? Should I give him a full inventory of ALL of my humidors? Or - should I break it down with an inventory of each of the individual humidors? Decisions, decisions...
I'm quite certain if we go down the path of providing an inventory of each of my humidors theafh would have some intriguing follow up questions. And - in that flurry of thought filled questions - what will become of our relationship (me and theafh)? Will he like me? ...or will his despise me because I don't smoke the same cigars as him? Oh, the humanity...
...or am I overthinking this???
No, Will - I concur with you. There may be no humor, but there sure is value in giving a simple reply. It's just plain easier.

Welcome from western Oregon, where it's pretty damn nice weather-wise, but can change in minutes.
Here's my tip for you: Avoid stocking your humidor with too many of the same kind of cigar until you know better what you like. And another: If you don't follow the last tip or you do find boxes of cigars you love, make a coolidor/coolerdor (search for it); it's a cheap way to store lots of sticks from which to re-stock your nicer humidor.
Latest smokes:
Cigar: 5/19: Nub Connecticut 464T
Pipe: 3/16: G.L. Pease~Charing Cross
I just bought my first humidor, and i have a few montecristos, an oliva serie v, a few cohibas, and a few random sticks that i got in a sampler. I'm really excited to try the serie v.
