I can see buying dannemann sweets filters because I also want to quit "smorking cigrette". I don't have much to offer in trade, unfortunately - perhaps you'd consider a swap for some Big Butt Churchill's? I also think I might have some A&C Grenadier's laying around somewhere. Or - perhaps some Grape flavored White Owls?

My bad. Deepest apologies, Will - I was unaware you, too, were trying to break your smorking habit.

I'll yield to you, my friend. I'm quite certain the backwoods trade is a much fairer offer than I had suggested.

I've been smorking since I was 13, and it's a terrible habit to break. Thanks for understanding.

I'm afraid you might have difficulty working up a trade with our new friend I fairly confident he's now receiving LOTS of offers for "business propositions" after posting up his e-mail address in a public forum. I'm quite certain he has princes and kings and oil ministers and lonely ladies and all sorts of other folks trying desperately to have him help them with their overwhelming fortunes. Not to mention all of the lottery's he's now suddenly won!!!

This thread has brought to life one of my worst fears. I was convinced I'd had everything under control, but unfortunately it's not nearly as rosey as I'd like to believe...

Eville - I, too, had been caught smorking on a few occasions by my mom, and once by my dad. It was embarrassing at the time, but in my youthful zeal - I just dismissed it. In reflecting back - that should have been the defining moment in my life. I had the opportunity to change things, but chose instead to continue down the smorking path.

I know we make fun of smorking - but in all seriousness - it is an incredibly insidious thing. For those who don't know what I mean - you should immediately fall to your knees and express your gratitude. For those who are smorking - I'm quite certain on some level you know where I'm coming from.

I really hate to admit this in a public forum, but I'm very hopeful my public affirmation will help me to recover. My wife caught me smorking last night. It wasn't the first time, but I believe it was the final straw for her. I can't even bear to describe in detail what happened, as it is still quite painful. It's a scene i just keep repeating over and over in my head. You see - we've been together now for over 30 years and I had thought I was safe in that relationship. I can't believe I was so naive to believe that smorking wouldn't take such a toll on our relationship.

I'm not looking for sympathy for my plight and certainly do not want to influence the others in the community to give way for me to quietly negotiate a trade with our newest friend. In fact - I believe I may have found some other methods for dealing with my smorking. But - I'm very encouraged that something as innocuous as these little cigars could help me with my smorking.

I really want to thank all of my brothers and sisters in this community for showing me their care and concern in past issues I've had. All of you have little idea of how much that means. I know I'll get through this and am eternally grateful I'm in such a loving and caring community.

First, never publish your email address like that unless you want to find yourself the lucky recipient of piles of gay porn.

If you want to quit smoking, do so before going to cigars. Trying to quit smoking by swapping to cigars makes no sense because you're still smoking! That's like being a heroin addict but deciding you're going to quit by switching to crystal meth or cocaine.

I don't know if those things you mentioned could be considered to actually be a cigar. Personally, I wouldn't call them one myself. If you're going to try to quit cigarettes by smoking cigars (rolling my eyes here), do yourself a favor and go to a real cigar store (my favorite in Edmonton is "Burlington on Whyte") and ask for a mild cigar.

Remember, cigars are about relaxing and the flavor and you have no tastebuds in your lungs. If you're going to inhale the cigar, you might as well stick to your cig's.

CaptanBlooze69, you need a new pair of glasses, he wants to quit smorking, not smoking, there's a huge difference you know.

Thank you for sharing with all of us, George. I'll think about you tonight during my after-dinner smork.

Geez, I didn't even know smorking existed until this thread (plus subsequent searching). Not something that I will be trying anytime soon. Like inhaling, cigars smoke and nasal mucous membranes just don't go together.

I believe banCock is in Thailand. And - there's an awful lot of smorking going in there...
