Hey guys, I'm new to cigars, and am trying to figure out some good cigars to stock up on? So far I've only bought a couple "cheapie" cigars, and a Man O' War sample pack. The Man O' War sampler had 3 Virtue, 3 Ruination, 3 Originals, and 1 Armada. I liked the Armada a lot, and the original was good too. haven't tried the ruination yet, and I didn't care for the virtue. Any input on these cigars would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome from Alberta, Canada.

I'm unfamiliar with the cigars you mention but if you're new to cigars and would like to try an assortment of good cigars for a reasonable price I can highly recommend doing a "newbie sampler" with one of the members here. Just use the search function and look for "newbie sampler V" (V=5)

Man O War's are a decent line, nothing to get particularly excited about but reliable and consistent in flavor. They are a motherfucker to mail though.....they don't seem to want to get to their destination, no matter how hard you try.

I've never had any trouble getting my man o' wars to me, but I've been going through cigarsinternational.com

I agree with the "Cptn", try and do a newbie exchange. I just completed one with a member of this fine establishment. I've tried a couple of the sticks I recieved from this "gentleman", I use the term loosely as he has a reputation to uphold (at least that's what I've been told) and have not been disappointed they are fantastic.

    Welcome from Chicago Southland.
Nice for me to start gettin' some seniority around here.
Oh yeah, you gotta do a Newbie sampler. It's the very best move you can make.
Did I mention you should try the Newbie sampler?
And, Oh Yeah, try the Newbie sampler...

Just got my package from the newbie sampler trade, and a big thank you to the gentleman who traded with me! Had one of them tonight, and gotta say if the rest of the cigars that he sent me are as good as the one I had tonight, then I am in for a huge treat. :D

    Default Drew Estate

I advise all of my friends who are new to cigars to explore a Drew Estate sampler I find these are great cigars to lure people in to the cigar world and help them find their own likes and dislikes.

I think the ruination is great for an every day cigar, lately I've been lovin' Ortega & Espinosa's stuff! Not EO but their split venture cigars!
Out of all the interwebs and www's, I can say that this is my favorite smoke shop
