    Default Tobacco primer

Can someone point me to a tobacco primer of some sort.
I read about the different types of fillers, binders, and wrappers, but don't have a clear idea of what most of them are or what their characteristics in a cigar mean as far as flavor and strength.

You don't need a primer. Tobacco, properly cared for, ignites fine on it's own.

Do draft dodgers have reunions? And if so what do they talk about?

    LMAO!

Lots of stuff to read here: http://tobacconistuniversity.org/

If you want detailed information on how to grow / harvest / cure / ferment / age, etc......in your own backyard, go here:

You can also look around at some of the online retailers (famous - holts - jrcigars) as some/most of them have links to other shit to read.

Read lots of reviews on the board as well. But, above all, smoke a shitload of different cigars. That's the only way you'll find what you really like anyway.

Do you keep a cigar journal? Know what you're smoking, record your thoughts, smoke cigars of similar style and origin and compare with completely different cigars. Revisit cigars you've smoked previously and compare experiences. A "tobacco primer" is a personal journey.

I have only taken a glance at this, but you might find it interesting: http://www.cigarcyclopedia.com/cyclo...edia-of-cigars
My stepson was talking about an encyclopedia he had that he added cigar labels to, and this might be the one.
