Smoke: Drew Estate Undercrown ~ Gran Toro
Drink: Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
Tunes: Alkaline Trio
Date Smoked: 1/10/13

Wrapper: Mexican
Binder: Brazilian / Nicaraguan
Filler: Connecticut
Draw: light draw
Burn: great
Misc: n/a

Pre-light: Maduro-Oscuro shade wrapper. Strong leather / tobacco scent. Smells like a pouch of Levi Garrett. Looks like nice construction. Strangely, smells more powerful than the cut prelight taste, but the same flavors.

Light: Easy; Light draw.

1st 3rd: Full body. Spicy meatball! Full leather and spice flavors. Residual oil flavor. Very JdN-esque or LFD ligero. Dominant spice and oil. Full flavor.

Ash: White right off the cherry, and fades to a slightly yellow. Stacks nice with a decent structure. Only holds on for ¾”

2nd 3rd: Strong flavors. Oil, tobacco, tea, coffee. It is really rich. Leaves a strong oily aftertaste, like a strong black coffee that’s re-heated in the afternoon. Spicy, but not pepper like. 1st 3rd more like a residual red-hot fireball candy.

3rd 3rd: Numbing my mouth. Oil, leather dominant. I have to say it’s smooth, somewhat. Just a real flavor blast. Residual strong coffee aftertaste. Overwhelming. That’s a good word to use, but it’s nice to be overwhelmed sometimes.

Overall impression: Good cigar. Will look around for more.

Thanks K7!!!!
