Smoke: La Herencia Cubana Oscuro Fuerte ~ Robusto
Drink: Troegs Nugget Nectar
Tunes: Buena Vista Social Club ~ Buena Vista Social Club
Date Smoked: 3/14/13

Wrapper: Pennsylvania Connecticut
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Draw: Light draw
Burn: A little erratic
Misc: n/a

Pre-light: Maduro – oscuro shade wrapper. Decent construction, with a musty leather, tobacco scent. Almost a chocolaty scent. A little spice of the cut prelight flavor.

Light: Easy. Light draw using matches.

1st 3rd: Spicy / chocolaty, oil and leather. Full body, but not overpowering sofar. Retrohale just made me sneeze. Wow. Pretty nice blend / balance sofar.

Ash: Closer to crisp white, with smooth flakes. Holds on for 1”

2nd 3rd: Rolling issue on 2nd 3rd… Got a tunnel going on. Strangely, it is burning ok, but there’s not much smoke coming out. You can see the rolling void in the cherry. Anyway, flavors mostly consistent with 1st 3rd. Stilly tasty. Ah, there we go, we burned through it. Billowing smoke again.

3rd 3rd: Kinda crappy burn, but again, nice flavors. Coffee, chocolate, leather, oil and spice. Brings me to thinking about how flavor can sometimes be overshadowed by a bad burn.

Overall impression: Overall, nice cigar flavorwise. The burn was erratic BUT, I can overlook that for the price and recommend a great yard-gar.

Thanks Irish79!
