Misc: n/a

Pre-light: Colorado – maduro shade wrapper. Box pressed with some big crumpled veins on the sides. Construction looks decent. A cedar scent. Dusty, musty tobacco flavor on the cut prelight taste.

Light: Been on a match kick…easy light. Medium to light draw.

1st 3rd: Rich and woodsy, leathery notes off the bat. Medium to full body. There’s a slightly acrid tea notes on the aftertaste. A bit of oily bitterness on the retrohale. Nice start.

Ash: Weak and flaky. Tiny ash bubbles. Yellowed gray. Holds on fro less than ½”

2nd 3rd: Acrid taking over a bit. Some leather / woodsy notes on a triple draw. Mellowing into a more medium body. A little harsh, and on the toothy side.

3rd 3rd: Moving into a more leathery cigar now. Medium to full body again with the acrid tone, but not overbearing. Oily bitter notes but enough sweetness to pull it out. Strong aftertaste of a strong black coffee.

Overall impression: An alright cigar. Probably won’t look for any more, though.
