Oh man. Peyton was the first QB drafted in both of my leagues and was worth 45 points last night
. As long as Ash's starting QB gets more pts he'll be happy (very unlikely).

We only have 6 teams in the league so the teams are stacked. He has Drew Brees playing this week. I would be surprised if anybody does as well as Peyton this week, but before he did what he did last night not playing him over Brees wasn't a bad move. Hindsight, right?

Brees could have a phenomimal game too, but matching Peyton's performing would be a long shot.

I replaced A. Morris at the last minute with R. Rice last night and he didn't do great. I'm hoping that one doesn't bite me.

Cody44 has failed to meet his obligation to submit 5 cigars =>$8/stick value as entry fee for participating in the league. As a consequence, he has been removed from the league and arrangements have been made with the other members to handle the remainder of the season as far as scoring is concerned.

As an activity that originated on this board, the FFL requires exactly the same level of integrity as any trade / split / pass. It is very simple, say what you'll do, then do it. Do not commit yourself to obligations you cannot fulfill. Above all, should life get in the way and cause issues with keeping a commitment....all ya really gotta do is fuckin' communicate. A good reputation on this board takes time and effort to establish, but can disappear in the blink of an eye. Reestablishing a reputation is a much harder task.

I sincerely hope that only positive life events have kept Cody from keeping his commitment and he and his are well.

It was a very tight season with only 5 active players and one guaranteed win against Cody. The top 4 teams each had 9-5 records going into the playoffs.
The payout is as follows:
Champ = 11 cigars
2nd = 8 cigars
3rd = 6 cigars

No shit!! It was difficult not to wish a broken leg on Roddy, especially after that touchdown catch.

The championship, like you said, was a 1.42 difference, and the third place game was decided by only .56 points!!

It was great fun. Hopefully next year we can fill out a 10 or 12 team roster and really get some trash talking started.
