  1. Default Hello

Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking around for a week or so just reading and exploring. I figured I would say hello though! I am a cigar noob, so still wet behind the ears so please be patient with me if I got some questions. Anyways. My name is Steve. Live in the OKC metro area. Surprisingly enough my fiance turned me onto cigars. Never was much of a smoker prior to our trip to Miami this past March, but she got me a Montecristo Platinum Rothchilde while we were there and well....she created a monster. Anyways, I get paid in a few days and am curious if anyone has some good recommendations for cigars, for a noob.

Hello and welcome from Indiana. I am kind of a NEWB myself. I have only been smoking since last December. I have found that reading a lot and samplers is a great way to find what you enjoy. Don't let your feeling get hurt when these guys slap you around a bit. They are for the most part harmless. But if you misspeak or ask something silly you may get a slap to the back of the head. Great guys here to learn from. Enjoy......
May your ashes be long and your smoke be plentiful...

Ya. I am checking out the "Today's Smokes" thread and seeing what people like and don't like. Noticing trends so it gives me good ideas to try and see if I like or don't like. As far as getting a smack on the head..sometimes people just need it and sometimes I need it. You gotta learn some way!
