    Default Tune in

Anybody ever use tunein.com? It's a nice site and a great smart phone app for listening to radio stations around the world. It also has a lot of police and fire frequencies around the country. I found it useful during the recent flooding in Colorado.

You can search by location, (city, state, country, continent) station call sign, city police or fire, artist (for a suggestion of genre stations) or anything else you can think of. It usually comes back with exactly what I am looking for. Pauline likes it because we can usually pick up the Irish sports broadcasts.

I guess you can register if you want to, but I don't think it's necessary. I registered with a unique email address and I get emails every day with suggestions on stations to use. Not a big deal, but I'll probably delete the email account some day.

    Give it a try.

I bought tune in pro...Think it cost $4.99. I listen to all kinds of stuff from all over the world. Listened to the London Police scanner the other day. Ad free too.
