Might help if you introduced yourself and your cigars. I've seen a post looking for a rep on another board, but it had a crap-load more info than what's posted here.

I see things like this and turn into a "Cyber man" (from doctor who, for the uninitiated)

    and just want to say:

Delete is the easy way, but oh there are far worse things than delete...

If our new friend is legit - what a potential great opportunity. If he's not... Well... Stick around - I'm quite sure you will enjoy the ride!

I must be dumb as a lump on a stump because I don't know what a Texas Rep means. I thought someone was looking for a Texan Republican, but that's not it, so what exactly are you "repping?"

(Yeah, I don't mind opening myself up for ridicule as long as it's clever and witty.)

I think they need a cigar representative in Texas. Who "they" is, has yet to be determined.

ETA: Sorry, I guess that was neither whitty, or clever. :)

Well, there was no ridicule and therefore no requirement for whit or cleverness. I appreciate the clarification, because I wasn't aware that cigars needed representation. So, when is the trial? I sure hope they win!

My friend was a rep for Oliva till he died. A board friend from another cigar BB is a rep for Rocky Patel . I don't know about all cigar manufacturers but when a local shop has an event for xxxxxxx brand of cigar it is most likely put on by the rep for that manufacturer and most of the freebies/discounts are covered by the reps budget. If you are good at it it's a pretty good living. I have met some knowledgeable reps and I have met some used car salesman dumbasses.

Well, smokers apparently need representation these days...
