    Default Canadian Winter Pastime

Enjoying all the comforts of home while jigging for Walleye through the ice. Favorite adult beverage and a Flor de las Antillas

I remember it being an Indiana past time too. It was not as cold so you could fish out on the ice. I remember boring a hole near shore and cleaning it out and we watched the fish swim and the water was crystal clear
The older I get ,the better I was

That is freakin hilarious. MMA NHL style...

The league really is no longer US vs Canada any more as in back in the day. Every team is loaded with players from all over the world.

I don't know where your loyalties lie, but I'm not much of a fan of the Canuckleheads. One of our local minor league teams (Chicago Wolves) was a Canuck affiliate. It made my skin crawl...

MHO is hockey in places where one can't play on a frozen pond at least some of the time just doesn't feel right.

    Vancouver qualifies.

Freakin' Polar Vortex is back. We're going negative (Fahrenheit) here today, it just gets worse for the rest of the week. I would rather be in Vancouver...

I hear you - Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, etc always made perfect sense to me.

But fer cripes sake - LA? San Jose? Dallas? Tampa?... Seriously?!?

Yeah - and we're heading back to the single digits again due to the "vortex"...
