    Default Camacho Corojo ~ Diadema

    Smoke: Camacho Corojo ~ Diadema
    Drink: Sierra Nevada ~ Torpedo
    Tunes: None
    Date Smoked: 07/11/2013

    Wrapper: Honduras
    Binder: Honduras
    Filler: Honduras
    Draw: Easy to medium draw.
    Burn: Shitty
    Misc.: not recorded

Pre-light: Colorado maduro shade wrapper. Figurado shape with a 60 right out at the foot, and maybe 48-50 at the head (thankfully.) Good construction, basic faint tobacco scent. Not getting much pre light flavor. Maybe a little pepper and sweet tobacco.

Light: Pretty easy light with the Aerosmith Bic.

1st 3rd: Mostly an oily bitter, blended with some sweet tobacco and spice. Can’t say I’m real impressed off the light. We’ll see. Oily aftertaste, but not “bad”, just lingering. Medium body.

Ash: Burns uneven. Flat gray with a yellow twinge. Holds on for about 1”

2nd 3rd: I wanna say I’m disappointed with the burn on this, which has been sideways continually, but really it’s the lack of flavor. Just a lame kinda ashy flavor. Trying a touch up cut / light. Not gonna work…

3rd 3rd: Same as others, but the burn got better after aforementioned clip. Oily bitter, quelled with just enough “sweet” to make it tolerable. Kinda ashy in flavor too.

Overall impression: Not impressed. If it was a dud, well too bad Camacho!

I have been smoking a lot of Camacho lately and have noticed the same thing with the newer batches of Corojo's .

Yeah, I had this in July last year, and I distinctly remember it being...really lame.
