i enjoy listening to big band/rat pack era jazz.

a newer guy named matt dusk... has some great tunes.. on his older album..

Does he perform in vegas?I think i may have seen him,old sinatra songs and more in that ilk?

I do enjoy some good old jazz, though... Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Chick Webb, that whole crew... Can't stand that "lite jazz" crap... But I must admit to having some Diana Krall around; she just makes me think dirty thoughts :)

Louis Armstrong (happy music, how could you not be when you listen to this guy!?)

Glenn Miller (good, especially the In The Digital Mood album)

Sometimes it feels like the real Jazz died after 1960 or 62.

Fired up Musicmatch on demand tonight and I'm exploring 'Afro-Cuban Jazz.' This is some good stuff!

This would especially be good to listen to on a warm day, cool breeze, ocean view, mojito in hand, cigar in the other after a good meal.
