Default Saying goodbye ain't never easy...

Normally I wouldn't bother doing something like this but I know a lot of you fellow BOTL's are animal lovers and have gone through this yourself and understand.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our Pug dog, Keyser.

For over a decade now Keyser has been a constant part of our life. Keyser was the sweetest dog I've ever known and never had a mean or aggressive bone in his body. He was happiest when physically touching his "momma" or me and spent most every night curled up under the covers next to my back.

It's been almost 3 years since we had to say goodbye to Keyser's older brother Ashes and I'm sure that the two of them are together again waiting for us to join them.

    Goodbye old friend...

Sorry to hear. Most dogs think they are human. Great companions.

The time has come again *sigh*

Last week we had to say goodbye to Emma, our French Bulldog.

Emma was came to us as a mature dog. She was 5 when we took her off her previous owners hands and was 11 1/2 last week when I took her to the vet's for the last time.

Rest in peace my dear, we'll see you and the boys on the other side of the rainbow bridge one fine day....
