Unfortunately, while the wifey was listening the Dr. said no mountain biking for at least a year... too "jarring"

He didn't say anything about wakeboarding though.

What about street luging. Is that out as well?

BTW - not sure you Dr is all bad. That "jarring" can work a screw loose. And boy I can tell you from personal experience, you don't want any loose screws!

I'll check but I'm pretty sure I'm cleared for street luging. Perhaps you and I can get together before summer ends to race each other?

If your doctor won't clear you for street luging, I'll have to give you my doc's number. He's a-ok with street luging and cigar smoking!

...and I think you might be able to influence him to do some mountain bike riding as well. He is pretty liberal about those sorts of things.

I liked my physical therapist's reaction when I asked him if I could ride my trainer indoors.

I took it as a yes.

I'll have to show you the 3 inch screw they removed from my heel. It apparently backed out of it's original position - freaked me out when I first noticed it. It was bothering me, so doc put me under and unscrewed it. Saved it as a souveneir!

I have a couple of screws in my big toe, though they aren't 3" long, I have had to have one reset. However, I reaffirm my prior statement.
