Cigarsmokers Fantasy Football 2014 sign-up and rules

This is a continuation of the league from last year. All previous participants have been invited and all but one have renewed their team!!

This should be fun, shit slinging is expected if not required.

The buy-in to participate will be a 5'er from your stash with a minimum value of $8/stick. Be sure to value your cigars appropriately....i.e. what you paid at the B/M is rarely what the cigars can be purchased for on-line due to taxes and other stuff. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM beefy or myself and we'll be happy to help you out. The cigars will be mailed to me no later than the 2nd week of the season. Failure to send your required entry fee by the deadline will be cause for removal from the league. Don't let this happen to you, remember, most things can be dealt with as long as there is communication.

At the end of the playoffs, the cigars will be selected "draft - style" by the top 3 finishers. The number of selections available for each finishing position will be determined once we know how many players, and thus how many cigars, will be available. I'll take care of distributing the cigars at the end, including postage.

The league is set for 12 players.....let's fill it up!!

Live draft is currently set for 2 pm PDT August 17th.....this can be changed if necessary. I tried to copy the league settings over, but it's telling me it's too long.....I'll see what I can do to get them posted. This is not a keeper league, so all players will be available during the draft.

Ok, we'll keep sign-up open until this Friday, Aug 15. We have 6 players now, and since it's a head-to-head league the number of teams has to stay even. Let's try to get two more players!! C'mon fellas, good fun and a chance to win some nice cigars.

I have it on good authority that once someone (cough dan) posts their list.....there will be three sharks taking residence in my humidor at the end of the season. Well, maybe two as I'll likely smoke one as a celebration.
