Have you ever see one like this?
Way too delicate and frilly for a "man cave." I do like it though.

Actually, isn't that really a pipe rest holding a cigar? Doesn't seem to be too much room for any ashes.

All this talk about nice ashtray's inspired me to upgrade to a new and improved version. This one is built from the jug off of a 14 cylinder Pratt and Whitney engine a 454 camshaft and some rods out of that same airplane engine. Still need to add a small tray to the side for my Xikar's.

That is one cool ashtry, SAWB

To keep with the theme, sorta, I've been using a burn piston from a TR25W.

I'm still on the hunt (sorta) for a nice big piston worthy of ashtray conversion. Sadly (but fortunately), my engine blowing days are over, but I have a few mechanic friends, and some others still in the practice of burning up their cars, just not much time for visiting here lately... I Will find a suitable candidate though, and will definitely be posting before and after pictures of the project!
