LA Perla Habana Grand Pearl Robusto
I switched off to some midler smokes for a change. This cigar is 5x52 and has a nice Connecticut wrapper. It smelled woodsy, with slight hay and floral notes. Prelight draw was reminiscent of dry cedar. It burned well and the ash held on for a long time. I would say this smoke was the medium side of mild. There was a lot of nice smoke and it left a creamy mouthfeel. The cedar/wood notes in this cigar were dry. Picked up spiciness in the second half. The spice kind of reminded me of baking spices. Kind of a creamy dry Gingersnap flavor. A nice mild smoke. Should be good with morning coffe. I had mine with a Pilsner.
