    Whew!

I'm glad you're back and doing reasonably well. Take care of yourself and do what the doctor tells you.......unless he tells you to quit cigars altogether..........then just listen to everything else he says. Cigars promote relaxation which is good for the heart............right!?!?

    Stay well Jamie!

    Jamie,

I'm sorry to hear this, and sorry to read it so late. I'm glad you're recovering. I'll add you to the prayer list at church. I think of you often..

Thanks for the well wishes fella's..... Last cardiac rehab visit is this afternoon, then I'm on my own.
I actually feel a shit-ton better than I have in years......well, except for the occasional shooting pain in my collar bones and the annoying railroad tracks where they wired my breast bone back together.
Honestly, the lifestyle changes, while significant, haven't been all that difficult to accomplish. Regular exercise, diet modification, getting good sleep....less coffee, etc. might have something to do with motivation.
Thinking something is good for you is much different than knowing everything could come to an abrupt end if you don't change your ways.
