CT Valley Tour...

The other day I was pondering something to do for the weekend and it occurred to me that some of the world's best wrapper leaf is grown less than 2 hours from my home!

So, yeah, it would be a GREAT idea to see the Connecticut Valley where it's grown... But what to do once I'm there?

Does anyone know of any tours or whatnot in the region?

Hmmm, I live about 20 minutes from there and there really isn't much to see. I have a friend who has a neighbor who grows or used to grow tobacco but I don't know if they still do. I know where some of the fields are. If you're interested, shoot me a PM or better yet an email.

Head toward the airport and look to your right....all you're gonna see are long red barns and white netting. I dont think they do tours or anything like that.
