    Default Humidor on trip

I'm going to be moving into my dorm on friday and I am wondering if it is safe just to take my humidor up there. I have heard that temp. changes can crack the humidor, so should i worry about that? I'm moving from houston to austin, and the humidity will be very different. Will that be a problem with what i have to do to it on the inside? Thanks

Don't worry about it. It'll be fine.

Try to pack it in a box if you can. Keep it out of direct sun. If you stop for a length of time DON'T leave it in a HOT sealed up car!.

There is more concern for the cigars than the humidor. Normal changes in temp and humidity will not hurt any reasonably well made humidor. Be more concerned about your cigars!

    Have fun!
