You are going to have to try to put a little more effort into your questions ben....really.

The short answer is it depends on where you live.

Would you like to grace us with any specific details to your particular situation?

It also depends on the temperature, the time of year, cigars in sun or in the shade, what you're storing the cigar(s) in, etc. AND where you live as Hugh mentioned.

I live in Connecticut. I do most of my smoking in the car. I keep a ziplock bag in the glove box with a few cigars. There have been times where the cigars have been in the bag for up to a month (even in the winter) and I've never ruined them.

Now if the cigars were NOT in a zip lock bag but out in the open, it's impossible to even take a guess answer at your question because we need to know:
    Temperature
    Humidity
    In direct sunlight or not

But tell ya what, I've had cigars dry out in less than an hour on a hot summer day with low humidity when left in direct sunlight. Ruined to the point that when I cut it, the whole end cracked and split.

Long winded Old Hen...that's why I said it was the short answer.

Based on his previous topics, Ben doesn't seem to be the most interactive poster, which generally makes for good conversation and the exchange of information. I was hoping to draw him out a bit, get him involved and such. Not much else to say now.

  5. Default Ben.... Ben.... Ben

Looks like they covered it all for you Ben. It also depends on Size and Tabacco used oil content etc....... But the main ones were mentioned above. Why dont you post your situation and I'm sure we can help you prevent "drying out", but as for giving you an exact time frame of when it will dry out its sorta hit or miss. Take care of your smokes like the money you invested in them, and they will take care of you.
