Over a week ago I won an auction at Cigar Bid for some Patel 2nds. Saved about $10 compared to CI's outright price.

OK.....so, I expected to see the cigars within a few days as Cbid is usually fairly quick with shipping.
NOT!!!!!! Today, the tenth day since the auction close I call up CBid customer service just to inquire and make sure something didn't slip under the rug.

A very nice gentleman commented..."Oh...I'm sorry we're out of the 1990 RP Churchill 2nds. However I do have ...X.

To make a short story shorter......

Apparently, and it's not a rampant thing, Cigar Bid posts things that they may not have in stock! What is this? eBay?

I mean it's no big deal and the CS rep is sending me RP 1990 Toro 2nds instead, but it seems strange that such a company would post cigars up for auction that they don't have set aside for that specific auction.

The CS rep said that it must have been an inventory error. Oh puh-lease!
