    Question Where do you smoke?

Recently I moved from a 3 bedroom to a 4 bedroom home and claimed one of the off bedrooms as my smoking room. I store my humidors and odd lot cigars in the closet. I do raise the window a bit, close off most of the a/c floor vent and turn on the ceiling fan. After a few weeks of smoking and listing to some CCRor AC/DC in "my room" my family has not smelled any cigar smoke. They all argee that the room does have a very sweet tobbacco smell and not unpleasent to their noses.
So, where do y'all smoke? I got tired of going outside to smoke a sitck. I still go out on nice mornings and evenings but man having a room just for it rocks.

Just moved into a new house. The fellow who owned it before my lined the garage with pine bead board, put in a celling fan, a vent fan in the top right peak and a wood stove.

    That's my new smoking room.

I spoke with one of my new Neighbors the otherday and turns out the guy was a cigar smoker also and enjoyed having friends over for drinks.

He lived to the ripe old age of 94,

So pour another and light up, for life.

I did a post on my weblog about the longevity of cigar smokers.
Seems like the NET health risks are pretty minimal.

I smoke in my car or in my finished basement.

I knew you'd be the first to say it! The car is the best place. The open road, a monti A, a 32oz powerade. Ain't life grand.

I would smoke in my apartment, but honestly, I'm almost never home.

Whenever possible, I smoke outdoors on my deck.

On rainy days or colder months I smoke indoors, usually in the living room near the room-sized HEPA/charcoal air purifier I bought. It's not the smell that concerns me or my wife; I just don't want to have to paint ceilings or wash windows more than necessary....

Answering your question about where I smoke...looks like I might like to invite myself to this smokking room of yours.

Because it was such a nice evening on Monday, I watched the LSU / UT game in the garage so me and my buddies could smoke stogies. Due to the exciting second half of the game, I ended up smoking a 3rd cigar.

My wifes family is in Johnson City so we are over there normally during the holidays. May have to try and arrange a TN herf when I come out that way.

    Thumbs up

When I get settled in this crappy ass mobile home ( I've been a top carpenter for 20+ years and living in a trailer is really a downshift for me, I bought it from my sister and was going to rent it but my 68 yr old mother begged me to move into it so I would only be 150 yards from her and not 9 miles like my old house of 20+ years. At least this "thing" is 1780 sq.ft. I will eventually move into the big house on the hill according to the will so I guess I can make this work. I'm gonna rent my old house) Anywhow...perhaps by the holiday season some of us can get together and smoke a few. I've been real busy trying to move and get my old place ready to rent but remind me. If nothing else we should be able to meet at a resturant for a meal and a smoke fest. Look forward to it. Y'all won't have any trouble finding me in a crowd cause I have a braided ponytail, beard, left earring and always camo pants (BDU's), not to mention i'm old ...soon to be 47, and not PC and dont' give a rats behind who knows. It is something to look forward to. It is rare to find stogie lovers anymore and I'd love to meet some of y'all. I ain't rich or good looking, hell I ain't even got a friggen garage but I got 13 acres with 2 ponds and lots of room to shoot, fish and smoke. Keep in touch with me ....

I have a tree stump which has a hollowed out bit in the middle and its out by the garage. I sit next to that and it makes one huge freakin ash tray.

First favorite place is my local cigar shop. Shop is run by a wonderful gentleman named Max. He makes you feel as if you were in his living room. Nice leather seating area, always some interesting conversation, and 21,000 sticks to choose from. The other favorite place is on my apartment balcony, facing west, watching the sun go down. I personally don't need anything else when I'm smoking a cigar, as in newspaper, computer, magazine. No offense intended to the other posters. Just my personal preference. Always looked at my smoking time as an event. For the same reason, never smoke on a golf course. I love each passion too much on it's own to share. Would rather finish the round, and then spend an hour either celebrating the round or trying to forget about it with a favorite smoke.
A woman is a woman, but a cigar is a smoke...

I smoke every where except for inside my house. It's a wife thing....

Generally I enjoy my smokes the most at my local cigar shop or outside on my deck. When the weather get's too cold or the bugs come out I take it to the garage.

I smoke on my screened in lanai 365 days a year. The weather here on the west coast of Florida is always great for smoking outside.
