    Default NYC Herf-November 19th, 2005

Alright party people, BKcloud and I want to make a call for a herf here in NYC. BK has said that November would work well for him. So, the date is November 19th, 2005 unless we must absolutely change it due to an emergency. The event will take place at Maxwell & Dunne's in Long Island (somewhat near the Ikea). The address is: 1600 Round Swamp Road . Plainview . NY . 11803 . LIE Exit 48S

    Here's a link to the place: Maxwell & Dunne's
Here's a link to the google map of the place: Map of Location

    So, in summation:
Location: Maxwell & Dunne's (formerly Palmers) in Plainview, NY (on Long Island)
    Date: November 19, 2005
Time: 2:00pm (unless there is a real problem with this time?)

    Tentative Participants:
    Shibumi (Cigarpass.com)
    Louie D (Cigarpass.com)
    CCat
    BigMacFU
    BKcloud
    Smokelaw-1 (Cigarpass.com)
    Toneny (Cigarpass.com)
    Scott1966 (Cigarpass.com)
    HudsonValley (Cigarpass.com)
    LoanShark? (Cigarpass.com)
    VotTak (Cigarpass.com)
    Stogieman (Cigarpass.com)
    Anyone else I missed

For those who are MIA or haven't noticed the call for a HERF, come on out, shoot fly in if you want, I'll put you up on a futon for a night or two.

And for all tri-staters, no excuses, get on down for some HERF fun. Diesel, have fun at your daughter's birthday party, you're excused, but call me when she's 18

Think about that REAL hard... If a Red Sox fan gave you a "congratulatory cigar"... Would YOU smoke it?

Well, with CCat, he's first an Astro's fan, but...

I would totally take a congratulatory cigar from a Red Sox fan because the humility it would take for a Red Sox fan to say congratulations to a Yankee fan is near saintly.

Sean's a friggen traitor... How can the Yankees be a beloved team to you. I'm ashamed to say you come from the Chicago area. You should more properly be rooting for the White Sox...

I'm calling your dad and having him smoke up your best cigars if you don't start seeing things right...

    A traitor, I think not.

As a Cubs fan, I disagree with my Father's view that you can also like the White Sox. I hate the White Sox with a passion. Not AS much as the Red Sox because the fans aren't hypocrites (they just don't exist ). Because I hate my own hometown AL team, why not adopt the team of my new home? I especially like the idea too that the Yankees have an owner who wants to win. I've never experienced that as a Cubs fan. Could you imagine if the Tribune Co. actually cared about winning, how cool would that be.

Oh well. A traitor I am not, I true Cubs fan I am.

BTW, George, it is you, the North Sider who is a traitor, you should be a Cubs man all the way For your sake though, I do hate the Red Sox more than the White Sox, so I am rooting for the White Sox to make it to the ALCS.

If you're curious about why I hate the White Sox with a passion, 1 player, Frank Thomas. Sorry, dude's a jack-ass, never liked his attitude.

Oh, please... And Sammy Sosa's attitude was MUCH better.. Bahhh.....

Hey - my parents disowned me over being a Sox fan, but I manage to survive...

Sammy is no better, but instead of keeping him around, we beat that red headed step-child all the way to Baltimore to hang out and shoot bull hormones with Raffy.

    I'm right here.

I think this is a great idea, but I work 7 days a week and getting time off is hard to come by. Pick a day and time that works best for everyone else and I'll see if I can make it. In case you want to know what's doable for me Saturday evening's are the best for me, since this will be a bit of a drive for those of us in the North Jersey boones.

You Bastid! I'm going to tell your future wife about this. Also no one here wants to have anything to do with my Daughter. She is great, I just suck, and it's a package deal. No one is good enough for her! Plus I have already dug the holes to hide the bodies.

Remember I'm the daddy with the shotgun! I shoot first and don't bother to ask!

Hey I'm in on the DADDY
Defending All Daughters Dignity from Yousobs

I prefer Longbow and wooden arrows. Also have Tai Chi and swept hilt Rapier swords and sharpening wheel for first dates, Homecoming, Prom etc..........

She is 15 and I keep telling her if I see a boy I will sharden the swords and broadheads with his help of course. If I see him twice I'll let him get a feel for the weight of the swords. And After 5 times I willchallenge him to a duel.

    Me - Rapier
    him- Tai Chi sword

I don't want to talk about archery or hunting with the boys it just gets messier.

enjoy the HErf sounds like fun.

Alright, almost time, get your lighters started....

The official start time, at the behest of a FOG, is now 12:00pm saturday morning (yes, 12 in the afternoon on a Saturday is morning for most of us young bucks). So, if you cannot get there that early, don't worry, we'll be there many hours.

    Hooah!
