thanks, I hope so. I was torn between the Xikar cutter and the credit card cutter found on C-gars.com. I went ahead and went with the Xikar, might get both though in the long run. The warranty for Xikar won me over.

Just got my cutter today in the mail. Wow. If you don't have one and are considering buying one, do it.

I've used an Xikar once and it made me wonder how they work on large ring guages?

You can lay it flat on a table and put the head of the cigar in, and it will clip the very tip of the cap.

How do you like the case? I've been thinking of getting one in black.

I have a blue one. I love them. I don't think that I could ever use another cutter again.

The case is worth the $30 or so dollars off Ebay. I am not sure about the exact price I paid, but it is nice for the purpose. Like I said, it is just for a trip out of town or to the store. I bought the brown leather one. It has cedar lining and decent craftsmanship for the money. From what I've heard, I don't think you can go wrong with Xikar. I bought the case because it can hold large ring gauges and it has cedar lining. Pretty cool looking, too.
