Today we had a nazi rally in toledo,about 1000 locals showed up.The police feared fpor the skinheadssafety so they gave them an escort out of town.After they left chaos insued,they burned a house down and looted a store.there is an 8 p.m. curfew for everyone.What it turned into was a ton of gang members attacking police ooficers and the mayor.The mayor actually went into the crowd to try to speak to the people,they threw rocks at him.I guess my point is they won,this is just what they wanted.On television it showed people were bringing there kids there to see this.Sometimes i can't believe i'm bringing a kid into this shit.

I saw this on the Internet earlier today and couldn't see something like that happening in Toledo. I grew up in BG. My parents live there and my brother lives in Perrysburg. Crazy stuff. NW Ohio isn't a bad place to raise children. Don't sweat it... although Toledo does have its moments like any city.

Off topic:
Here lately where I live, "East Liverpool" area, seems to be getting more violence more often. People coming from different cities, because our police force isnt much of a force. However they are cracking down on drugs alot more now.

my friend just called me,he stationed in germany.It was on tv there .I grew up in the north end ,it is pretty bad now though.It used to be a working class nieborhood,the polish village,now its filled with gang activity and filth

It's very interesting to see how people develop so differently based on the nuances of their enviroment. The older I grow the more I see humans as biological machines rather than spiritual beings, in contradiction to what I was led to believe growing up. It's the small and vastly unheard of things like your example which tell me something about humanity. The message: our limited scope. The result: curiously fashioned destruction. Kindof like a blind taxi driver on your vacation, who wants to cheat you out of some money by taking you through detours you are not aware of.

the funny thing is they said the reason they were marching was to stick up for the white people in the nieghborhoods,they were coming to do some thing about gang violence.They only had twenty people,if anything i thought it was funny .Are the neo nazis the group that wants to send all the black people back to africa?I'm not sure why there still around.


It was kind of strange though.The nazi leader had a Mannix lunch box,and it looked like he was smoking a grape white owl.

I'm not trying to get the racism shit started up or anything. I've seen the posts that some people have made here, but from time to time the KKK comes through here. I live in a small town in North/East Tennessee on the border with Kentucky. Not too long ago they had a rally in the town up from mine. Those guys are nuts, it's amazing how some people can hate another group of human beings so much. Anyways, I guess world history is full of examples of it, but I just never have been able to understand it.

It starts with ignorance, fed by laziness and the "whoa is me" syndrome (because it's always easier to blame someone else) and then is nurtured by equally pathetic companions in to bubbling, baseless hatred.

i've never had the opportunity to see one of these rallies and i hope i never will. we really just don't need crap like that.
