    Default Cigars Help Athletic Performance

Did you know that Michael Jordan smoked a cigar before every Bulls' home game since 1994? It helped him relax on the ride in. I learned this in his recent Cigar Aficianado interview.

Since the performance-enhancing properties of cigars are clear, should cigarsmokers.com start their own Olympic team? I'll throw shot-put!

i'm sure you'd get a lot of points, but they'd be delivered post-humously.

On another point, the general trend seems to be greatness aided by a cigar. We have the aforementioned Jordan, and the great Bambino, we also have Winston Churchill (great enough to have a universal cigar size named after him) Sigmund Freud, Groucho Marx (And Karl as well), Me, Jack Nicholson, Fidel Castro (at least he's famous/infamous), and Al Capone among others. Cigars are a symbol upon themselves of success, that's why all the evil/money-hungry super-rich stereotypical soulless CEO's always smoke cigars (that, and they can afford to smoke them).

Considering the height of the platforms they dive off, I might need a good cigar to stop the pain after a belly flop. When I was younger I belly flopped off of a 15 foot jump, I can still remember the sting......

I loved the way you worked yourself in that list....... Very subtle!

I'm terribly sorry, i forgot to mention Mark Twain, the classic self-acclaimed purveyer of "The Worst" Cigars

The list should have loked like this...

I apologize for the lack of such a great cigar-person in the origional list.

Sounds about as good as playing lawn darts at night.

just because the greatest basketball player of all time smoked a cigar before each home game does not mean cigars enhance athletic performance. Traffic was bad and he likes cigars.

Yes but it doesn't mean it didn't enhance athletic performance either.

Besides, considering the level of golf John Daily play's at I think I need more booze and cigars. Just to improve my game you know...
