    Default I have become disenchanted........

    With Drew Estate.

Everything I've tried so far from Drew was just horrible. To me anyway.

    Vile, putrid cigars.

I bought a box of Green Heroes a few years back. At first I enjoyed the unfinished foot and overall goofy look, but found it to be drawn too tight as well. It was a little too mild for my taste.

I took one puff of an Acid once and put it down. Won't do that again!

Well I happen to enjoy the Acids every now and then. I think the Kuba Kuba is really not that bad give it a try. I have a couple of boxes of the Extra Ordinary Larry and think they are a good smoking cigar. I find that these cigars smoke like a normal cigar, in that the flavor and quality of tabbacco is there but they have a little something extra that changes things up. I prefer a smoke like the Kubab Kuba in the morning with a cup of coffee the sweetness of both complimant eachother. Try it for your self and you may be suprised and then again you may hate it. Dont pass on it just becuase everone else says it sucks. For me it depends on what mood im in when I walk to my humidor some days I grab and anejo or an opus other days im reaching for the Acid.

So do you just throw the acids in the same humidor as the anejo and opus?

Bah, you people with your sweet coffee... If God wanted cream and sugar in coffee, he would have put it there in the first place! (I guess the same can be said of flavoured tobacco, eh?)

I like my coffee like I like my women: big, black, and bitter!

No believe me I know better than to throw an Acid in with an anejo I have a 3 humidors. I have a coolerdor with all of my acids, a 100 count humididor with my anejos, opus, and ISOM, and a 100 count with all of my higher end singles I have bought along the way. I also keep a couple coolers with extra boxes I have. Thats besides the point Krautle87 just give it a try and if you dont like it dont smoke it, that does not mean its a "bad" cigar. A cigar is about tase and what makes you happy. While getting opinions on a smoke is not a bad thing and is why places like this board exist they really dont mean a damn thing if you enjoy it. There is a major misconception with these smokes. Some people disregard them simply because others have placed a negative conotation upon "flavored" smokes. Acids are not flavored they are an aromatic cigar and while some may disagree with that point The process in which these cigars are made is very different than say a .... cojimar or other flavored cigars of that nature. While I myself am not a big fan of double chocolate chip mint cigar I think Acids are in a different league. Thats just my 2 cents well maybe 4 cents at this point lol.

    Default Over this past summer.......

I picked up a few La Veija Habanas and at first I was impressed considering the cost of the cigars. Dirt cheap. But alas one gets what one pays for, usually anyway, there are a few exceptions but Drew's LVH's aren't one of them.

After smoking a few over the next week I found that they completely trashed my palate. There are also major profile swings within the line which isn't unheard of but is uncommon. The Churchills are head-kickers and the Torps are mild, almost TOO mild.

Last week I bought a Drew Estate Root Natural - One would think that the term "Natural" implies just that. It doesn't in this case. I did notice that the cigar smelled like pipe tobacco when I took it out of the cello at home (should of done that at the store). I thought "Oh...one of those cigars made of pipe tobacco". OK, I'll try it anyway since I already own it. I lit it up and halfway through the first draw my mouth was filled with a disgusting sweetness as if I was lighting up a bundle of Swishers all at the same time! GROSS!!!! I went right to the bathroom and flushed it down the toilet.

I doubt that I will EVER buy another DE product again.

For me that would be small, dark, sweet in a cup with a biscuit on the side.
I thought it was a tampon joke!
