I have discovered Cigar Dave on a local radio station! has anybody listened to his show? Comments?

he actually does know a bit about cigars....originally from buffalo....communications graduate from syracuse u.....daddy bought him a radio station in central florida...he ran it for a few years and sold it for a pretty good fortune.
he sttled in the tampa area and put together the show...if not mistaken,in late 1995.....he's a friend of mine,and really,a good guy.

I'm an idiot, don't listen to me.........if BPP says he's a good guy then he knows better than I do. I've heard his show only once or twice and maybe I just caught him on a bad day and it just didn't appeal to me. I should not have been so critical.

Just like cigars, if you like them or this case his show then that's all that matters, who gives a rat's a$$ what I think

he does shill...way too much....and i detest the "hazard warnings" that tag virtually EVERY commercial on his show......that's why i stopped listening about 6 years ago....it served a purpose,though...it was/is a nationwide program about CIGARS......you'd like him if you met him......i can't listen to the show anymore.....

hmmmmm. ... interesting. He is on for 2 hours right before Tom Leykis' Tasting Room program in Seattle, so i figured I'd give him a few turns and see what he's all about. I did notice the shilling in the first few minutes, but if I find some meat in his program, I might start listening.
