"Revolucion" cigar scissors
These seem kinda cool in theory, but do they work? Any opinions or experience?

it sure looks cool
I have never used any scissor type cutters. That one looks cooll though.....great price too! I say, what is there to lose!!
You're right. This cutter does look cool! It's also not a bad price. Did you read that it spirals around the cigar as it cuts?Originally Posted by Jonsey5484
I'd buy it if I were you. I am full up on cutters and usually I use my work knife that is sharp enough to shave with. cuban Crafters seems to make and market good products from what I have personally seen

I've bought a humidor and double bladed cutter from them. Very pleased with the humidor, and the cutter has worked fine (only cutter I've used, so I can't compare).
Their cutters typically come with a lifetime guarantee, so if it dulls...etc, they'll send you a new one.
It does look intersting but I like the old cutters. There is a certian traditional class about smoking a cigar maybe even an elegance and I just dont see anyone carrying that around with them in their pocket.![]()

Back on topic, I agree with you 100%, not only does it look like a gimick but it would be a burden to carry around... I carry my Xikar every where I go, in my jeans pocket.

That is a great concept. I would love to hear from someone who has tried it. I think I'll get one anyway....![]()
Sweet looking but hardly practical when out and about.
I thought it was a tampon joke!

I still haven't bought one. Hoping to get it as a stocking stuffer. I just thought of something though. With three blades, all of them can't be flush with each other, can they?
I suppose if you angle each blade a bit to interlock them and give half of each blade an opposing grind to go flush with it's neighboring blade it might work. Maybe. I'm no engineer. I wish I could see it close up.
Looks to me like the blades are curved. I ordered one and will post my opinion soon.
I am about to order one of these from Cuban Crafters. Has anyone gotten theirs yet? If so, how do these cut??
?

I have an identical one, made by Colibri, that I bought about six years ago. I never use it. It tends to tear the cap and leave little tobacco stragglers. I much prefer my Xikar, Palio, or even Havana Cutter.
