Since my humidor is small, I lay my tube of bead on top of my cigars. Now my cigars sort of smell like the beads. Will this affect the taste or burn? I know this is a weird question, but I am just curious.

What do your beads smell like, exactly? Silica doesn't have any odor I'm aware of...
