    Default Smoking Rituals

I'm sure everyone has a favorite routine for when they smoke. Mine is to sit on my porch with headphones and a big ass bottle of dr. pepper while I ponder my cigar. Either that or be in a strip club. How about everyone else?

I don't have an every cigar ritual but I do have a once a month ritual.

My brother in law introduced me to the wonderful world of cigars, and bought me my humidor. Unfortunately, he lives in Indiana so our opportunities to smoke together are only about once per year. On the bright side, we do share a smoke once a month...Jan 1st, Feb 2nd, March 3rd, April 4th, etc. We go out at the same time and smoke the same cigar, then we share notes on the cigar via email. We take turns picking out the sticks to keep things fair, and I'm looking forward to December 12 and the CAO MX2.

That is a really cool idea. Mine isn't a ritual, but my friend and I plan to smoke an Opus in front of the Capitol building when we go to VA for work next year.

Well I normally cut it with something, usually a cutter as wierd as that may seem, then i go outside put it in my mouth and use a flame to start it on fire, most of the time with my cheap gas station torch, then I suck some smoke into my mouth.

    HA HA.

That thing with your brother is cool Hefty, my brother live in LA and I live in Iowa so it would be nice if we could have something like that but alas he doesn't smoke cigars.
